MMT Update 5/20/2008
Dr. McCauley ...

Dear Friends,
After spending our first week on the field in Switzerland, we traveled to Germany on May 15. We began our ministry there with a concert and salvation testimony in a historic Rothenburg ob der Tauber church that attracts many tourists. This venue gave team members opportunities to have meaningful conversations about the Gospel with people from many different regions and cultures.
Our first Bible conference in Germany centered around the theme of the promises of God. We held four conference services at Haus Felsengrund with the Philippe family. On Saturday night we presented a concert with an evangelistic message in the beautiful old village church at Zavelstein. Believers acquainted with the team as well as many unbelievers from the village came for the service and stayed for refreshments and fellowship afterwards.
Today we are enjoying an outing with the young people from our host church in Flein, where we held services on Sunday and Monday evenings. Yesterday we went into Heilbronn to sing on the streets and pass out tracts. The Lord held off the rain, and we also had good success with literature distribution. Later we shared testimonies about the unusual and encouraging experiences various team members have had with tracts.
Thank you for your prayers. Please remember to pray for our safety on the road. We are also concerned about staying on budget with fuel prices here at the equivalent of $8.50 per gallon.
Yours faithfully,
Janie McCauley
